All our whānau need to register so you can play a part in our settlement. If you whakapapa to Whakatōhea, then it is your birthright to be a part of this!
Register with us today. You simply need to:
- Whakapapa to a hapū of Whakatōhea
- Be 18 years or older
- Click here to complete the Whakatōhea registration form
You can register by filling out this online registration form
By registering, you will be added to the Whakatōhea Whakapapa database (administered by the Whakatōhea Māori Trust Board), so you can receive communications, participate in the process and vote. This form will take you to the Whakatōhea Māori Trust Board website.
You can also contact the Whakatōhea Māori Trust Board to request a hard copy registration form.
Why should I register?
This is your chance to be a part of history and help start a new chapter for our iwi. Registering will allow you to vote on the Deed of Settlement and Post-Settlement Governance Entity when the time comes.
We will host hui closer to the time so you can learn everything you need to know.
Am I registered?

Changing my details
Once you have registered, you can change any details by contacting Lesley Mclean at email@example.com
Will my information remain private?
Your information will be held by the Whakatōhea Māori Trust Board and will be protected under the Privacy Act 1993.
